Social Psychology Lab at SKKU is an academic platform for junior researchers and students devoted to studying psychological conditions for collective flourishing.

The main theme of our research reflects the spirit of the time, i.e., we must strive to become communitarian individuals who are aligned in terms of the purpose and ultimate goal of life, which is constantly striving to build a better society.

Research Updates

Aug, 2026. Prof. Choi gave a presentation on "Beyond the ‘I-We’ Divide: Toward a Psychology of Co-prosperity through Collectivistic Independence" at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Korean Psychological Association.

Aug, 2026. Jeong-eun and Prof. Choi published a research paper on Awe among Koreans in the Korean Social and Personality Psychological Association.

June, 2026. Jee-won and Ha-yan, along with Prof. Choi, presented their research on newcomer innovation and loyal deviance, respectively, at the INGRoup Annual Conference.

June, 2026. Jeong-Gil and Prof. Choi published a research paper on Group Decision Effectiveness in the Korean Social and Personality Psychological Association.

Nov, 2025. Hayan and Prof. Choi published a research paper on Hiding Success in the Korean Social and Personality Psychological Association.

Oct, 2024. Jeong-Gil and Prof. Choi published a research paper on justice beliefs and fatalism in the Asian Journal of Social Psychology.
